From Running Code to Running Roads: The inLIFE Team Take on Cathedral to Castle
At inLIFE, we’re more used to running websites than roads. Our days are usually spent behind the keyboard designing, coding, and developing — but on Sunday 19th April 2026, our team will be taking on a very different kind of challenge.
We’re swapping monitors for miles as we line up for the Cathedral to Castle Run, a 10-mile route starting at the iconic Lichfield Cathedral and finishing at the historic Tamworth Castle.
The inLIFE Line-Up
Taking part in the run will be David, Lottie, Laura, Stuart, Nathan, and Karl. Each of them has been putting in the training miles and building up their fitness in preparation for the 10-mile challenge ahead. For some of the team, this will be their longest organised run to date, making it both a personal milestone and a collective achievement for inLIFE.
Supporting the runners on the day will be Damon, volunteering as part of the support crew to keep everyone motivated and help out where needed along the route. And behind the camera will be James, who’ll be capturing photos and videos throughout the day so we can document the journey and share the highs, the struggles, and the celebrations with our clients, friends, and community.

Running for More Than Just Ourselves
We’re proud to be running in support of the Stan Bowley Trust, a local charity with a mission that means a lot to us. The trust is dedicated to improving cancer treatment and support, funding advanced equipment, specialist training, and vital resources that directly benefit patients and their families.
By taking part in the Cathedral to Castle Run, we’re not just challenging ourselves physically — we’re helping raise both awareness and funds so the Stan Bowley Trust can continue their incredible work. Every mile we cover is a step towards giving more people access to life-changing treatment and care.
Why We’re Doing This
As web designers and developers, much of our work happens behind a desk. Taking on the Cathedral to Castle Run gives us the perfect opportunity to step away from the screen and challenge ourselves in a new way.
The event itself is one of the Midlands’ most scenic and popular running challenges, covering a 10-mile route that starts at the beautiful Lichfield Cathedral before winding through countryside, villages, and open roads, and finishing at the historic Tamworth Castle. It’s a route that blends history, community spirit, and fitness — making it a fantastic goal to work towards.
For us, it’s not just about the miles. It’s about coming together as a team, focusing on health and wellbeing, and proving that while our day-to-day is digital, we value real-world experiences and pushing ourselves beyond our usual comfort zones.

Follow Our Journey
Thanks to James behind the lens and Damon in the support crew, we’ll be sharing updates, videos, and photos from the day. Follow along on our blog and social channels to see how the inLIFE team fare as we swap running code for running roads — all in support of a fantastic cause.
