Bringing People Together for Food, Fun & a Worthy Cause
Last week we welcomed our business networking colleagues, friends, and the inLIFE team to our inLIFE Summer BBQ – a day filled with great food, laughter, entertainment, and most importantly, fundraising for a cause close to our hearts.
It was the perfect way to bring everyone together outside of the usual work setting, giving us a chance to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and strengthen connections. From catching up with familiar faces to meeting new ones, the afternoon was full of great conversations, plenty of fun, and a few friendly competitions along the way. The food and drinks went down a treat, and the atmosphere was buzzing right through to the end.
The event was a huge success, with £512 raised in total for The Stan Bowley Trust Charity.
Food, Falcons & Fun
Guests were treated to copious amounts of food provided by the fantastic Paul’s BBQ and Buffets, serving up a BBQ feast that had everyone going back for seconds.
Meanwhile the amazing team from Tora’s Falconry put on a falconry display – a real highlight that had both adults and kids captivated and learning a lot about a range of birds, including the huge head lining eagle!
Of course, no summer BBQ is complete without games, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to connect, network, and share business ideas in a relaxed setting.
Raffle Prizes & Generosity
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who donated prizes to our raffle. We had some brilliant prizes up for grabs, including bottles of alcohol, golf days, and beer vouchers – all of which helped make the raffle such a success.
Your generosity made a real difference, and every ticket purchased contributed to the fundraising total.
Supporting The Stan Bowley Trust
We’re proud to support The Stan Bowley Trust, a local charity, dedicated to funding and promoting CyberKnife technology in the UK. They helped bring the first unit outside London to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, giving patients access to this advanced, non-invasive alternative to traditional surgery for many types of tumours.
They also raise awareness of CyberKnife’s benefits and provide clear information and support to patients and families considering treatment. By offering guidance and resources, the Trust empowers people to make informed choices and continues to make a real difference in cancer care.
